'The client' shall mean the person enrolled in any AThaiVisa.com's affiliate school's course. 'Force Majeure' shall mean any occurrence outside of the schools' control including, but not limited to: fire, windstorm, flood, tsunami, earthquake, explosion, collapse of structures, riot, war, labor disputes, delays or restrictions by governmental bodies, governmental regulatory changes, inability to obtain or use necessary materials, or any cause beyond the reasonable control of such party.
AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools reserve the right to deny admission to any applicant after review of a client's application form, face-to-face or distance interview. We also reserve the right to request a background check or other means of verification of the student's suitability. For all courses offered by AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools, this decision will be based on the client's abilities and history in the following areas: emotional and psychological stability; prior job or school history and performance; and presence of any criminal or illicit activity. The client shall disclose any histories or lack of abilities in the above areas prior to admission. If such conditions are revealed after admission into any of AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools courses or classes, this shall be a valid reason for expulsion from the school, non-renewal of visa, non-refund of fees paid, or any combination thereof. Admission of a client into a course is not a guarantee of same client passing a course nor a guarantee of client obtaining an Ed Visa.
Drugs and alcohol are strictly forbidden in school buildings. Student intoxication during classes are grounds for expulsion from courses with no refund given.
AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools not deny any applicant admission based on sex, race, disability (other than those that may affect attendance of the course), sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Personal materials such as notebooks, writing utensils, and digital media are not included. For any field study, transportation fees and meals are not included.
The course fee collected from the client shall be the amount posted on our website and communicated at the time of payment. Course schedules and fees may be changed at any time and without prior notice.
All payments are non-refundable, with the sole exception of denial of visa. In the case that the visa is denied, a partial refund will be issued pro-rated based upon the number of lessons attended by the student. No refunds will be made upon the start of any course for any reason other than denial of visa.
AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools may change or cancel any course based on lack of enrollment or Force Majeure. In such a case, the client shall be notified by AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools of the change immediately and credit transferred towards a class on a different date. In case of force majeure causing the cancellation of a course after its start date, AThaiVisa.com’s affiliate schools shall do one or a combination of the following, at their discretion: reschedule completion of the course for a later date, transfer clients to a different, pre-scheduled course, or issue a partial refund.
All credit card payments are made in Thai Baht and processed at our office in Thailand and are subject to a 5% surcharge as processing fee. This means that the client's issuing bank will charge based on exchange rates to the client's local currency as of the date of processing. Cash payments in non-Thai currency will be calculated on the exchange rate as posted by xe.com on the date of payment.
The Thai Government and its consulates and embassies may change, at its will and without notice, policies, procedures, and fees. These changes may happen during the clients processing or at the time of application for visa. aThaiVisa.com and its affiliate schools are not responsible for issues nor expenses incurred by the client due to these changes.
*No refunds will be given due to acts of God, and political unrest beyond the control of company; rescheduling is acceptable in such situations toward a later date.
